RACHEL COMPETES IN THE NATIONAL TANDEM SPRINT CHAMPIONSHIPS

The National Tandem Sprint Championships took place on Saturday 17th May 2014 in sunny Newcastle under Lyme. Abergavenny RC rider and current World Champion, Rachel James piloted Neil Fachie MBE, 2012 Paralympic Champion. All riders wear their club kit!

After qualifying 6th fastest finished 5th overall, having missed out on the semi-final by half a wheel!

Rachel told her dad, David that lots of people came up to her and said they loved the new Abergavenny kit.
Rachel also said she loved coming to the club session with all the girls and she can’t wait to come again! She is really looking forward to a session on the track with all the youngsters sometime soon!
