GREAT WEEKEND IN CORNWALL

A great weekend in Cornwall 3/4/May 2014 for all the Abergavenny riders competing at the 2nd round of the National MTB Series on a technical and rocky course. Abergavenny RC riders results were Megan James 1st in the Juvenile Girls, Ffion James 2nd in the Junior Girls, Joe Beckingsale 9th in the Juvenile Boys, Huw Higgins-Worrall 14th in the Juvenile Boys and Teifion Best 22nd in the Youth Boys.

Gateway riders produced similarly impressive results with Pete Turnbull 1st in the Grand Vets and Lynn Lines 2nd in the Super Grand Vets missing out on the win by 9 seconds. Ross Farley was 18th in the Masters Male and Jon Moyle was 27th in the Masters Male.

On Saturday in the non-championship events Evelyn Higgins-Worrall was 1st in the Under 10 Girls and Steve Higgins-Worrall was going so fast in his race I don’t think they recorded his finishing position!!
