Apologies to all our riders but with the storms coming over the next two days we have taken the decision to cancel the Youth Go-Ride session on Saturday 19 February.

As you are all no doubt aware there are amber warnings for wind tomorrow and yellow on Saturday in Abergavenny – and a fair dose of rain is forecast too. The rain we can handle, but the wind brings risks of branches coming down and debris blowing around.  

Stay safe, and we look forward to resuming the sessions on Saturday 5 March.

 

Youth Session: 10.15-11.30

Abergavenny RC’s weekly skills session for kids. We welcome all riders from age 5 upwards who can ride a bike without stabilisers.

Riders should arrive appropriately dressed (i.e. thermal base layers, jackets and gloves if it’s cold) and with a correctly adjusted helmet. Watch Joe’s guide to wearing a helmet correctly.

Bring a drink and a snack for the break.

Parents and guardians should register through the Eventbrite website or app.

The sessions are free but if riders wish to continue coming after three sessions, we ask they join the club (£15/year).
