MINI ME – WELSH CYCLING COACH OF THE YEAR RUNNER UP

Club Coach Paul Crapper was a runner up in the Coach of the Year category at the 2015 USN Welsh Cycling Awards.

At Abergavenny Road club the ethos is “on or off-road, competitive or social, we share a passion for the bike” and Coach Paul Llewellyn Crapper plays an integral part of the club’s hugely successful Youth Development Section

In 2014 Paul (affectionately known as Mini Me) completed his Level 2 MTB award and in 2015 has completed L2 MTB and MTB leadership awards. The courses have empowered him to promote discipline specific CX sessions for aged 13 and over, and adults and, recently he has added Women Only sessions, each Saturday, in conjunction with She Cycles Wales.   Both of these courses have a brilliant take up and have been offered for the first time by our club

Paul Crapper east, sleeps, thinks and dreams cycling and also rides his bike – competing in and becoming Champion in the he Welsh MTB Series Sports male category, CX,  the Velothon and many other riding activities.
